Herb Gardens for enthusiasts

The Herb Society Herb Garden
There is a herb garden at Sulgrave Manor, the new home for the Herb Society, and there is also a Virtual Tour of the garden on their website.

RHS Wisley gardens -  Herb Garden
Dedicated, well-established, themed, herb garden (with many names). No information online. Entry charge to Wisley Gardens - see website.

Yorkshire Lavender
Large lavender garden displays (un-named) mixed herb and cottage garden plant beds (mostly un-named) and small mint display in clay pots sunk in gravel bed (common names). Some pictures around the gardens, but no specific information online. There is no charge to walk around the gardens.

The Herb Nursery
Display beds of many herbs, including a thyme bed, and mints in pots, in nursery sales area all season. Open weekend in June when the 5 acre garden and woodlands are open to the public, with more herbs, including lavenders, rosemaries and oreganums. Donation for entrance.

Garden Organic - Ryton, Coventry
Haven't seen it for a long time, but there was quite a good size herb garden, before they built the Education Centre - I hope it is still there. Entrance charge to the Gardens - see website for current rates. Free to RHS members.
